The AcousticNest ACS-1 is a premium perimeter seal designed to deliver exceptional acoustic, smoke, and environmental protection for a wide range of door assemblies. It features a rigid ‘L’-shaped PVC backing with a high-performance self-adhesive tape, ensuring quick, clean, and reliable installation without the need for mechanical fixings.
Each corner of the ACS-1 is equipped with a soft rubber fin, precisely engineered to create an effective seal against air, dust, and sound leakage. In addition, a semi-circular rubber buffer seal is integrated to cushion the door’s closing edge, minimizing impact noise while also protecting the dual rubber fins from long-term wear and deformation.
Available in 12mm width, the ACS-1 provides a discreet yet highly durable solution suitable for use with acoustic doors, smoke control doors, and energy-efficient entryways. Its flexible design ensures consistent contact with the door surface, maintaining optimal sealing performance even with minor surface irregularities.

- ACS-1 has been successfully tested to BS476 pt 31;1 for cold smoke sealing (air leakage).
- Cycling test: 100,000 opening and closing cycles.
Fitting
ACS-1 should be surface fixed at the junction of the door stop and framem at the point the door leaf closes into the stop. Remove the backing paper from one side only and carefully position applying light pressure to locate the seal, carry out the same with the second leg and once satisfied that it is correctly positioned apply further pressure to both legs.| Weight | 2 kg |
